Skiff Eclipse

The first thing I'm going to say is thank you to Made+ for keeping manufacturing in America. Having said that, this shoe is not quite there, for the price point. They're marketed as "boat shoes" and that probably is the best application for them. But so then if you buy these you better spend a lot of your time at sea because they're not really adapted well to dry land. They're underbuilt and overbuilt at the same time: it's as though they took a water sock and slapped on the sole of a work boot. They may look like sneakers in the photo but they don't really wear as such. So if you spend half your time on a boat, and have the money to spare, they're great. Otherwise, they're not going to be a good value for you.
