Extraordinary!

It took a while for me to review these sandals because, well, warm weather comes slowly to Michigan. But now that I've worn them a few times, I'm in love. Beautifully crafted, high quality, substantial shoes, they fit out of the box with perfect comfort. Terrific heel, arch, even front of foot support. And stylish enough to go to dinner. I got the embossed black- very lovely. Also, the customer support team at Kuru is top notch, and helped me find an alternative to my first pair, which didn't fit so well. All in all, a classy company that delivers. I'll be back.

Best for thick feet

The heel technology is doing its job. Tĥe straps are set for a thick or swollen foot and not a foot without fat, like mine. I had hoped the straps would tighten when the insole conformed to my foot, but it did not make enough of a difference. I wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11. Mistake to purchase this style. Needs to be marketed to thick feet. Been wearing socks with these sandles, which defeats the purpose of a sandle. My feet still slide around, increasing a fall risk. Regret i did not just return them for an adjustable style.

Comfortable and attractive

With high arches and narrow feet, it isn't always easy finding comfortable dressy shoes; at 70 I've given up on high heels! While I've not yet worn the shoes outside of the house I have worn them in the house, two times, for over 7 hours each time...no complaints.
