LV - Imagination (sample sizes)

I recently bought several Louis Vuitton perfume decants—Pacific Chill, Afternoon Swim, and Imagination—just to see what all the hype was about. ​Initially, I liked them all. I already knew that the longevity for Pacific Chill and Afternoon Swim was only about 3 to 4 hours, but Imagination was an absolute standout, easily lasting a solid 8 to 10 hours. I could even smell it on myself the next morning. ​Because I loved it so much—and knew I’d never get through a full 100ml bottle from the LV store—I decided to order a larger decant of Imagination. ​What a massive disappointment. This new batch is a total letdown—it barely lasts 2 hours at best. The performance is completely nonexistent compared to the first sample, leaving me incredibly frustrated and wondering if I actually got the real perfume or just paid for a fake.

Imagination was amazing and the very first time I wore it I immediately got compliments. It is a really pleasant smell!

Hard to live up to all the hype. It's not a hypnotic masterpiece, but it is a good clean freshie.
