I believe it screens out small particles in the air before they’re able to enter into my lungs. The filter does not reduce the air coming into my mask through my heated hose, I’m happy for that. So far so good.

These fit really well and do not come apart no matter how much I may toss and turn. I like knowing that the filter works well and I'm not breathing in dust!

Attached easily to existing hoses on my Luna G3X CPAP unit. My hose is heated so the filter is attached above my headgear. I use a hose. Cradle on my headboard and there is no bothersome weight from the in-line filter. As far as filtration effectiveness, I have no way to judge the reduction in pathogens filtered, but In any case, it is worth the minimal cost and effort to prevent an infection.
