Mitred Squares Blanket Pattern

I have been knitting for 70 years and have never tried this before! Eventually I plucked up the courage and bought the pattern. I can't believe it is so easy to knit the Mitred Squares and the best thing is, all you do is sew in the ends, which I have been doing after every finished square. My husband has just had major surgery and this project is so easy to pick up in between caring for him. Thank you for your very well explained instructions.

Really enjoying this pattern, I don't work on it all the time I use it as an in-between knit, and I am using all my stash in 4 play it will be a beautiful blanket when done. Its an easy pattern to memories so a great pattern for on the go to

So this is highly addictive! Much fun to be had with the squares, I'm making a large cot blanket using one of the surprise 8ply packs from Unravelled and various yarn left over from previous projects (mostly from Unravelled as well!). Highly recommended.
