Iām using the 3 blade 1-1/2ā cut 300 gr head. Like my other 3 blade VPAās you have to love the ease of sharpening, just lay it flat on 2 blades stroke and rotate. Iām using this head out of 45-48 longbows and recurves. 1st buck I shot quartered away about 15 yds shot through animal stuck in offside shoulder, recovered about 60 yds from where it was shot. The impressive thing was a āgolf ball ā sized hole in animal. 2nd buck about 12-13 yds away also quartered 45# recurve entered last rib exited just behind offside shoulder, arrow skipped about 10 yds past where animal was standing. Once again āgolf ballā sized hole, fantastic blood trail deer done about 60-70 yds from where it was shot. I was concerned about broad head size and penetration w/ my 40ish pound bows, but now I know as long as I place arrows through the ribs, if I donāt catch an offside shoulder, there will be 2 very large holes in my deer. I love āem! Thanks VPA

I have used the 3 blade 100gr for 10+ years, they are great, I have only bent a few blades, and that is from the rock after the pass through shot. I initially bought these to hog hunt, but after seeing the performance i ditched my expandables and use them on every arrow now. I would recommend to anyone that uses a fixed blade

I have not hunted with this yet, that hunt comes up in July. Going on a South African safari. My brother has hunted with this and recommended it. It was also a broadhead that our outfitter recommended, the one piece, solid feature. I love how it flies, and how easy it is to sharpen.
