Merino Balloon Pants

Perfect pants

I love these pants- i got them initially for yoga but the design is so flattering, comfortable, and versatile I’ve been wearing them everywhere! With their billowy yet tailored design, and the merino fabric, there’s plenty of airflow to keep me cool on hot days but enough coverage to keep me warm when it’s cool and rainy. I love the colors they come in (obsessed with Deep Sea) and I think that this fall they’ll be cute with a tunic or dress over them. They can also be shortened- the other day I was at the beach and I pulled them up so the elastic cuffs were just above my calves and they became capris. You could pull them up over your knees too, because the cuffs are pretty stretchy, if you needed them to be shorter (I do a lot of messy stuff outside so wade-ready pants are excellent.) I also wanted to say thank you so much for the merino scrunchy I got as a gift with this order!

An absolutely staple

These are my new favorite pants. I truly wear them 3-4 days per week. No flaws. I was worried the croctch would hit too low, and I would have thigh rubbing, but they do not. They fit perfectly. (And I am short). Waistband is great. I would love the whole outfit in multiple colors. 10/10

super comfortable, works for long rises!

Finally, a merino pant that works on my build! I am not particularly tall (164 cm) but have a very disproportionately long torso and rise, and narrow enough hips that kids’ 12Y is my best jean size, so bottoms are often both too big AND have too short a rise. These caught my eye as something that might work, since they’re already meant to be very baggy. I ordered XS in both black and emerald, and I am very happy with the black pair. The waist is too big to sit anywhere higher than low-rise/hipbone level, but that is a comfortable spot for me. And while they are looser on me than on the models, it’s still within the bounds of “baggy but trendy.” The emerald pair ran bigger, spilling over into “baggy but sloppy,” and the waist was too big to hold the pants up with a phone in my pocket. I returned the emerald pants (and the emerald tank, which was bigger than black, deep sea, and eggplant), but am crossing my fingers for the pants to restock in XS deep sea and eggplant!
