Kids Wool Boot Slipper

Just what I'd hoped for.

A friend was given a pair of Danish-made, felt, bootee-type slippers for a present and I thought how much nicer they were than my conventionally-styled sheepskin slippers. These were cosy and warm, but they really brought home the meaning of 'slipshod', because they slopped around on my feet and walking was more of a shuffle in them. I decided to look up 'felt slippers' online and came across Woolfi. "Designed in New Zealand" all too often means "Made in China in sweatshops", but in this case, it means hand-made in Nepal from New Zealand wool. This I can happily accept. I wanted the little boots and I was really, really impressed at the method for sizing my feet accurately. At size 35/36 I'm on the cusp between children's and small women's footwear and this reassured me that I could order the children's size. This saved me some money (for me, the slippers were a big financial outlay) and my only disappointment was that the pretty pink ones were unobtainable. The slippers arrived, carefully packaged and fit like the proverbial glove. I've been wearing tham almost constantly and they show no signs of stretching. The rubber soles mean that I can go outside in wet conditions, with no fear of them getting spoilt and also - I hope - mean that they will last for many years. I highly recommend this quality footwear.
