S1 Plus - Automatic Filament Loader

Machine made loud grinding noises on day one , notified the company , with a video of what was happening , they immediately sent me a return label and told me to ship it back , I think this machine has great potential in the future , I did ship it back about 4 days ago , and still have not got a reply as to weather or not a new one is being shipped back to me .

Good chance I’ll end up buying another S1+

I’ve been using the S1+ Infinity Flow and honestly it has been a huge time saver. I don’t have a massive print farm, but I do run some pretty long Bowden tube setups and this system feels like exactly what was missing. Filament feeding has been much smoother and more reliable compared to what I was dealing with before. So far I’ve mainly focused on getting the hardware side running and it’s been working great. I haven’t had much time yet to really dive into the software or the hub features, even though I have both ready to go. Once I get more free time I plan on getting all my printers connected and fully set up together. Overall I’m really happy with it so far and there’s a good chance I’ll end up buying another S1+ soon.

It works great. I did have an issue with my Bowden tube that I upgraded, 3mm inside diameter is nice to slide filament through, but the wall thickness doesn’t hold very well with the pressure from the S1. 2.5 millimeter inside is perfect, easy to slide material through and the DXC extruder holds tight. I ended up buying 2 meters to go directly from the S1 to the extruder, I didn’t want any obstruction in the way. . Thank you Nathan for the trouble shooting help. I
