Sliced Challah Bread

Bread is ALWAYS damaged

My celiac son likes the bread fine, although he prefers the white bread. The reason I'm not giving 4 stars is that quality control seems to have taken a nosedive over the past several months. I always buy 7 loaves of bread at a time, and every order I receive, there are at least 4 and sometimes more loaves that are broken. The shipping boxes are fine, but the loaves are all damaged, with the top crust being broken off. It's like someone kicked them into the box. The only reason I haven't stopped ordering is because choices are limited and my son likes Katz' bread more than others.

Works Well For Me!

The Sliced Challah Bread is good for my uses. It toasts well. Each slice is a good size for me. It takes butter, margarine, jelly or peanut butter well. It tastes good just defrosted or when toasted. It goes well with sandwich items like meat or vegetables. It's convenient to keep in the freezer. Lastly, it's healthy for my needs. I never give anything all the stars because nothing is perfect, but this is nearly so.

The bread was so delicious and you wouldn't even know it was gluten-free.
