Great Jacket for cooler weather!

Purchased this jacket for a European trip I took earlier this year. The best thing about the jacket was that I was able to have the must haves on my person throughout the flight and whilst walking around the city without the fear of being pickpocketed. The material is perfect for weather that ranges from 40F to 60F. Anything above that and it will get a bit warm and you will start sweating. Another plus is that the material is water repellant. It rained a good portion here and there and all my things stayed dry. One of the biggest things I liked most of this jacket was the hidden pocket in the back (but on the interior) that sits against your lower back/buttocks area. I was able to store my excess cash, credit cards and documents there. That area is the safest place on the jacket because if you are mugged that is an area that would more than likely not be checked. I wish all scottevest jackets and vests had that pocket. I would like to buy another lighter jacket or vest, but I am waiting to see if they put that pocket on other models. I bought the XL version and I am 6'0" and 265 lbs. I bought this version because my shoulders are quite broad and the large, although it fit, was very constrained around my shoulders and back.

Glad I got one

On a recent trip to San Francisco and Alaska I am glad that I got a vest. With the wind blowing and the cooler temperatures it was very useful.
