This along with a quad lock phone case is THE ANSWER for mounting your phone to a tripod, safely, securely, and temporarily. Easy to attach and rralse, and solid as a stone. I have one of these for each of my tripods, and another for an adjustable arm that's attached to my desk for zoom meetings and head shots for "talking head" clips in video production. Is it spendy for something that likely cost $5 to 3d print? Sure, but it's a buy once, cry once kinda thing.
