Nowhere Plank

Its cool, but when you pay $40 for a small rectangle of material you expect a perfect showcase of that material. Mine arrived with a half inch scuff on it. Im not too bummed out as i know that as i carry it and eventually drop it that this would happen but it would have been nice to recieve it perfectly uniform

Purple Heart polished

Really happy with my first wooden plank, the Purple Heart. This material does not seem to have any smell like cedar, sandalwood etc. does. Lovely tactile texture/grain. On first impression I could feel the ends were a bit rough, but this wood is is soft enough that both a richer colour and perfectly smooth feel will develop in just a few hours. It does have inevitable lines from the polishing process, but i can't feel them. And visually they blend in naturally with the grain after a while. 10/10 plank It looks noticably more purple in real life, but in the picture you can see it compared to 17mm green sandalwood mala. Just imagine it's even more purple :)

Great Product

This is my first plank and it’s nice addition to my handhelds. It’s simple but extremely well crafted. The wood grain has a pleasant texture which allows for a nice grip. The coloring of the purple heart wood is unique which adds to the plank’s aesthetics.
