Pretty nice so far! Board looks great and squares are cut evenly. Pairs well with the 3.4” pieces that I have.

Form, Function, Fantastic

Pictures and videos don't do this board sufficient justice. If you want a good quality wooden chess board worthy of luxury pieces, one that is a conversation piece whether it is stored or assembled for play, and if your available space is at a premium, you won't be disappointed with this board. I included a couple pictures. The pieces in the photo at 1.9" base are really too big for a 2" board (and I also need to do a better job focusing), but I had them out.....you can see (imho) that the board is not overshadowed by decent pieces. I have a different set of 1 5/8" base pieces that will be perfect for this board.
