It took a little getting used to and experimenting with various types of ink and knowing how to best clean it I have to say that this is a really nice alternative to the traditional dip pen. I will say this is not really for beginners, but it does have the benefit that is less likely to get damaged and travel than a standard nib. It helps that it is also very aesthetically, pleasing and cleans well for the price that goes into, the craftsmanship the ease of use portability and design. I definitely really am happy with this purchase.
