Complete Helmet Build

Finally got some flying weather in Southern Michigan to test out the new helmet and comms. The fit and look at awesome. I really like the adjustment on the back of the head/neck area. It gives it a custom feel to my head. The V5 headset is even better. The ear muffs fit nice and tight. I got the ear pods wires thinking I was going to need them. After flying twice I don't think that anymore. I could hear my music and my buddy through the zello app we use crystal clear. It blocks plenty of the prop and motor noise to be comfortable. I haven't even got to try all the other things it can do with a camera. I would highly recommend this set up to anyone I talk too. Thanks again Trevor and PPG Smoke. Ed

When I first tried out the helmet, I thought it was pretty good. Then I realized I didn’t have the noise cancellation on. Holy PPG Smoke! As advertised. So quiet. I mowed the grass with it on (loud mower) and had a 1/2 phone conversation with my wife. She had no clue I was mowing. Excellent quality. Finally flew this morning. First time I’ve ever flown, then was able to hold a conversation afterwards. Usually my ears are ringing for hours. Love everything about this setup. V5 is definitely the winner. Nice work Trevor. Highly recommend. Radio cable is coming today (we’ll see, it’s USPS), so I really looking forward to trying that out. I’ve never been able to use my Baofeng radio due to excessive noise.
