Complete Helmet Build

Very pleased with my new V5 helmet build. I was looking for a way to communicate around small airports using my handheld aircraft radio. Communication is clear and music sound great. Couldn’t ask for more.

Awesome product and customer service from PPG Smoke! The helmet build quality is excellent and the audio is very clear. The helmet fits snugly and comfortably, and you can fine-tune it easily with a twist knob in the back. The headset lives up to the hype. The noise cancellation is top-notch, and you really notice the difference once you turn it on. The earcups are a pretty good fit as well... I might invest in some cheap ski goggles just to really clamp them down tight, but they're solid on their own. I added the MMCX earbud option for extra noise protection and am glad I did so. I was also really happy PPG Smoke's customer service. I had an issue with my initial order, but Trevor responded right away and took care of the problem quickly and with zero hassle. Really appreciate that!

A very clean, well done design. It is much quieter than my NVolo at blocking physical sound. The ANC adds a moderate bit of additional help and the sound quality of music is very good. Overall, this is what I needed and the best product I have used in 25 years of flying PPG/PPC.
