Vintage, simple loveliness
The clip goes over your paper about 1.7 cm before hitting the mechanism. It does not help to hold the edges in place, though it looks like it has the extra little loops to hold farther to the left and right, those are actually just decorative and are not angled to hold the paper. It is beautifully designed and vintage looking so very pretty.
