This is my second pair - the first pair lasted many good years! The new ones look nearly identical and fit perfectly from the start. I have always found these to be cool, comfortable and sturdy enough for extended walks on uneven surfaces. Yes, they cost a bit more than cheap imitations, but these are a truly great value. The sandals are very well made but just did not fit my foot well - too much rubbing against the bone on my ankle so I had to return it.
