A perfect gift for new and toddler parents - I bought the mammals bundle for a friend. It shipped and arrived quickly, and they love it! My friend said the parent tips helped her a lot. I love the “Mammals” series just like I have loved ALL of the series of books I have purchased. Author Salley Edwards is a knowledgeable and trusted friend, fellow educator, and literacy trainer/specialist, and now an author! I have bought all of her board books for my great-nephew, and his mother is extremely impressed with the many suggestions for using the books during story time with her son. As a former kindergarten teacher, I highly recommend the books. The real photos, the wonderful vocabulary, and the guides included for the readers who are sharing the books with the children ensure that the books are not only educational but entertaining as well. Salley is known all over the state for encouraging early literacy experiences that are age-appropriate, and her books make that possible for anyone who uses them. I am so proud of Salley for all that she is doing to continue her life-long mission to encourage a love of reading in children of all ages.
