easy35 v2

Works great! Easier to use than a film holder and a copy stand (I also have a Negative Supply setup). Vignetting on the output, some of it is due to the lens, but I think some is also due to the light source. Also we need a cap for this thing, like a lens cap, to keep the dust out when not using it.

Excellent quality. Documentation is sufficient but not easy to follow.

I had to order the piece that hold 35mm slides. Its not a problem, but the documentation for this device, while accurate, it is not obvious to understand. It would have helped to see some photos of the easy35 mounted on a typical camera setup. The parts in the kit were not labeled. It seems to be strong construction. My resulting copies with Nikon D500./105mm micronikor lens are excellent. The light source provides excellent even illumination of the 35mm slide.

Easy35 is easy!

The results are significantly better than what I was getting with my old scanner. The ability to scan in RAW format opens up more post-processing options, and acquisition times are significantly reduced. Caveat for those who work with slides: the adapter for mounted slides must be purchased separately!
