Fantastic boot, only one issue

These are a great supportive option, comfortable out of the box. My only complaint is the position of the heel lock lace hook, it sits right where the leg shank runs and its catches every time and bends out. I have several coworkers with the same boot and they have the same issue. It wouldnt stop me from running then again, but i ended up having to cut off the lace hook which for the prices is a little bit of a misstep. Overall hoffman is always my go to boots but would be awesome if something changed here.

Fit was perfect. Excited to climb in them.

Comfortable boot. Good traction in wet muddy, good arch support. The only thing I not fond of are added sole length that extends past the toe box. They snag stepping over loose cords and conductors and cause trips if not aware.
