Playing our part

We can only take responsibility for our own actions; plastics have become such an enormous problem. Being able to remove some of the microfibres from our clothes is one thing we can do and I’m so happy to be given this means of filtering them out with PlanetCare’s washing machine filters. Apart from being easy to install, the most surprising and satisfying thing is the reasonable cost, and, even more, being able to return the used cartridges for free! I wish other planet-friendly products were as affordable.

Installing needs attention

We had an issues installing the new filter as it cant be fixed to the washing machine. We used a wooden stucture to support it as it at first tumbled down when the water flushed through... The filters are perfect!!!

GReat design

I used the version 1.0 for a year before switching to the 2.0 version. I really love the new design, and attention to details. It is easier to install It has a better adhesive support that allow you to remove the filter without having to excursive force on the support when you need to open the filter to replace the cartridge. Also I love the new bypass system that can be se to different sensitivities according to the pressure power of your washing machine (note to engineers: would be nice to have a guide to explain how to set the tolerance of the bypass) The bypass is also an alert system to let you know when it's time to replace the cartridge.
