Performance lives up to its name
While took some time installing the strap on my Salomon S/Pro Alpha EL's. Luckily the Alpha's use screws and not rivets to make the removal and install easier. It was well worth the hassle in the end.
Once installed I could immediately notice considerable differences when you pull tight on the straps, with greater engagement of the boot and tongue strapped firmly around my calves compared to the regular velcro straps. Single movement with the slightest pressure on the boot tongue. Perhaps one of the best upgrades if you are serious about performance and responsiveness of feet to boot to skis.
