I’ll start out with the knife doesn’t disappoint ! I’ve carried a A-100 standard for years along with a CQC 7 flipper as my edc tools . The flipper is a little narrower than the 7 and has taken a little adjusting to get used too.. Over all another Emerson that I will carry… I’m a fan !

Smooth action

Great finish, flawless flipper action. Only downside is no gimping on top liner/scales when the blade is out. I guess it's for that smooth flipper action but it would be nice to see some additional grip.

Another winner by Emerson and my current EDC

I have a pretty good collection of Emerson knives including several variants of the A100. This one is my current every day carry as it has the simplicity of the A100 with the fast deployment of the flipper, which also acts as a guard when deployed. Well-made and great ergonomics as expected from Emerson. It fits the hand well and doesn’t look tactical, but in fact works very well in both tactical, EDC and hunting applications. Highly recommended.
