perfect upgrade
I just can not seem to leave any of them factory. Be it a larger thumb disk or custom scales from Kahless Custom Metalworks, I just don't want the knife to be "mine." I need it to be just mine!
The Emerson .45 casing thumb disc is a great update to the knife!
I have used it twice on different knives. First, my Mini Commander from 2004, and now my newest Emerson blade, the Seax.
I love the look and feel of the Emerson 45 casing. It isn't too large, it is def a Goldilocks size.... in other words, it is just right.
It fits perfectly in my hand and makes the ergonomics even better. Personally, I think they should make the oversized thumb disk the standard.

Love how much easier it is to index and deploy and Even though my cqc7 is non-wave, this .45 button catches on the top of my pocket and automatically deploys it just the same. Am thinking about placing a brass washer under it to raise it up.

Review 45 Thumb Button
I just installed a 45 thumb button on my A100 full size. Definitely increased the opening from the factory disk. Makes ambidextrous opening a breeze.
