I love these rolled leather dog collars. I’m on my 3rd. The first rests with my beloved Dobie that passed over the rainbow bridge. I trashed the 2nd collar after it got skunked. The 3d collar replaced the last one. These collars with their precision construction and sophistication add the finishing touch to my classic Dobermans.

Not as advertised

I am assuming by this email that you people dont read emails sent to you by your customers. The following is the email i sent you. I want to provide you with some feedback regarding your product. As much as it is a well made collar, it is in no way shape or form a 3/4" diameter. This collar you sent me is barely over a 3/8" in diameter. Furthermore, there are about 3 US based companies I order DVD sets from. Several so far this year . Most are double DVD sets and therefore a bit thicker than your single DVD package. What am I getting at? A double DVD case would easily hold the dog collar you sent me, and yet those DVD companies simply placed their package into a delivery envelope and placed it in snail mail. You sent this tiny package through a courier costing me in excess of $36 USD. That's ludicrous. I order often from the US as I prefer American made products as opposed to chinese made products as mostly sold here in Canada. Last summer I ordered a 4 pack of copper citronella torches with poles from the US. That delivery was just a bit more than what you charged me for a dog collar. I will not be ordering anything from Mendota Pet ever again. I will also let friends and family both here and in the US know about this transaction, including in placing a comment on my Facebook page. This was ludicrous. Good day

Our fourth collar for our fourth dog! Love the style and durability of the rolled leather collars. (NOTE: when measuring the dogs neck the lengh noted is end to end, so if you need a collar to fit a 16" neck, you will need to order a longer one - at least 2" or more to account for the buckle overlap and the distance from tip to the hole.)
