After pigeons enter through each of the two doors and the bait track is eaten the ones outside cannot find their way in. Other type of doors would probably help but would compromise portability to storage it once disassembled. Spacious, with enough room for food and water. Edges of wires on hatches could be filed to prevent cuts and scratches.
