I love this! It took me less than 1 hr to set up and I like having my door open without keys. My hands are always full. The only issue is that the 3M sticky that comes with the machine doesn't stick to my door. I need to figure out an adaptor I can use to hold it against my door. It's fallen off 4 times now in the past 3 weeks. I've cleaned the surface, waited for it to dry and restuck new sticker and still.

Ultra fits my mortise lock perfectly without an adapter

I was able to install the Ultra on my existing mortise lock without using the adapter kit, and it worked beautifully. Our front entry door uses a high-grade commercial mortise lock that looks elegant and premium. My wife wasn’t willing to replace it with a typical smart lock set, so I had to find a solution that could integrate with the existing hardware. The Ultra turned out to be the perfect answer. Instead of using the adapter kit, I secured the Ultra directly onto the metallic top plate of the mortise lock using high-quality double-sided tape. The alignment worked out perfectly • The turning concave of the Ultra fits over the existing turn key. • The internal light spring maintains just the right amount of tension. • The coupling stays tight, smooth, and reliable. The result is clean, seamless, and fully functional, all without compromising the aesthetics or quality of our original lock. Highly recommended if you have a mortise lock you want to keep and still upgrade to a smart system.
