Double Smith Salve/Glide

Really didn’t enjoy this product. I had high hopes but I think because it’s coconut butter based in part it’s very sensitive to temperature. When I first opened it it had been sitting in my car and was completely liquid. I then put it near my ac unit and it became really hard and crumbly and difficult to use.

Thank you for the opportunity to give a rating for this tattoo cream. I have done one full sleeve and I’m about halfway done with the other. So far I’ve done seven sessions with large areas of full color saturation. For the first sessions, I used Aquaphor, which did a great job. The problem is, it stains clothing, and everything else it comes into contact with. On my third sit, I was talking to the guy next to me who also had many tattoos. We said the same thing about Aquaphor, and he told me he switched to the Double Smith. It is much thinner, but smooth as silk and provides great coverage and moisture. I have gone through four cans, and plan to continue to use it in the future. Keep it cool, when this warms up even a little it tends to ooze. Be careful opening. Otherwise, fantastic product and I always look to buy local if possible.

This balm feels really good on the skin, BUT it melts at anything slightly above room temp and makes a huge mess in this tin. When I received it in the mail it was leaking everywhere and it is always runny. I feel like I gotta put it in the fridge.
