First Time I've Been Disappointed in a Smith Purchase

Let me start with the lenses are great per usual, no issue there. The fit itself is not very comfortable. I wore the glasses with a Smith hat for a entire day out on the water sailing and the nose section was digging into the bridge of my nose the whole day (I did not have the sun blocking attachment on the nose). I have had several pairs of Wildcats over the years and have had no issues at all. The side flips are easy to use but do still let some light through. Again this could just be an issue with the shape of my face? The nose sun block attachment is easy to take on an off and no issues there. Overall they seem like well built sunglasses, they just were very uncomfortable for me to wear. Could just be a personal problem?

Everything about these glasses are exactly what you’d want and expect, except for the price. Glad I got them on sale. Undoubtably a 5 star product

They do the job

I got these because I get dry eyes and needed a "goggle" that wasn't a pair of goggles. These to a great job of blocking air without getting your eyes sweaty. Field of view is ok, you can see the blinders (the removable plastic side flaps) on the sides, but they're not in the way. I had previously purchased the Embark model that also has those side flaps, and hated them. They blocked a good amount of side view, but not these. I got the photochromic version and they seem to do ok in varying lighting conditions. I do wish the lenses were easier to clean. You can't use lense cleaner and whatever is on the surface of these lenses makes wiping with a microfiber cloth hard because of the friction. You can't easily wipe them. I don't know if it's only the photochromic lenses that do this. The only bad thing is the plastic flaps are very difficult to remove, you may end up breaking one. I carefully pryed them off and squeezed the plastic nubs, slightly with pliers, to make them narrower. Now they are easy to remove. People like them. I've been complimented twice. Not my cup of tea, but I wear them for the protection.
