Pages Alive

As a watercolor artist, I thought PBN would be an insult to my artistic ability, but I was wrong. I’m getting great practice at brush and paint control before tackling oils. Also, it took a bit of trial and error with a slo-dry blending medium to achieve the right “buttery” texture of each pot of paint, especially for hairline areas. Now, it’s surprisingly gratifying as the painting gets nearer to completion. I’m poking forward to my next PBN piece.

Great painting. The quality and quantity of the paints is great as is the printed canvas. The numbers are very readable (albeit sometimes with a magnifying glass) which is quite a feat given the many very small painting patches.

I love painting by numbers, and recently found this company. I love love love the paintings. They are beautiful when completed, and I get lots of compliments on “my” paintings. It is relaxing and calming, and I have a beautiful painting when I’m done.
