I’m a fan of using different types of guitar picks, and I have quite a few from all different makers. While I think that boutique guitar picks are an incredible luxury, and that there is very little that a celluloid 351 heavy can’t do, Token has identified a material that complements celluloid well.
This picks stiffness is perfect for strumming and nuanced play alike. While not as slippery as the competition, there is just enough friction to lend a more “sticky” feeling on pick attack. I find I can ’dig in’ a little better on acoustic with this pick compared to other high-priced ones.
I bought three of varying thickness, all triangles, and where I prefer a 1.5mm thickness, these feel really similar in stiffness at about the 1.25mm thickness. Durability seems reasonable based on my usage, but time will tell.
Is it worth the price? I’d say yes if they were $25. It’s a nice-to-have for sure and I’d recommend one.

Only one little issue. That was grip my blue chips and token picks seem to have better grip texture or something. So I added some sand paper to it.That seemed to do the trick. Otherwise great pick. Thinking of trying a cub in the same pick. Would there be any way of putting more aggressive engraving on both sides?
