At first I thought they were pretty much just swim shorts but the more I wear them I can see them as boardwalk shorts and hybrid shorts. I would also recommend getting the 7 inch seam unless you like tiny running shorts.

Shorts are great. Just wish I would have ordered the shorter length.. these seem much longer than 7” inch inseam
