quick release provides extra protection

I've used the cotton carrier holster while hiking for several years without the safety of the quick release tether. After nearly dropping my camera one too many times, I ordered the tether and it works great. I can easily & quickly release the camera from the tether.

Cotton Carrier Just Nails It

Their products are top notch. I ordered the harness for camera and binoculars. My camera and zoom lens weigh about 7 pounds. It works great. My hands are normally free. I can get to my bins easily with one hand, and put them back easily. If I have the bins out and don't have time to put them away, I can just let them hang on the safety strap while accessing my camera. And if the reverse happens, I can even let the camera dangle from the safety strap with no worries. But the customer service is actually as good or better than the product. I won't go into details, but I got advice and replacement parts (due to theft, not defects) quickly and without hassle. Cotton Carrier has the best customer service I've encountered in the last 10 years.
