The stone works perfectly for making pizza in the oven. I haven't used it on the BBQ. I tried using one on the BBQ, and it broke. Emile Henry support was super - I sent them photos and explained what happened. They sent out a replacement right away. The best!

More than just a pizza stone

Bought this stone for my niece Jess who is a Chef. She used the stone on the grill right away. She grilled a pizza and when the pizza was resting she made vegetables for a side. I think aspeargus spears with mushrooms. Jess just love the versatility the the stone. This is her favorite for baking and grilling. Told her to use this other than just a pizza stone! Pizza Stone

I couldn't wait to use my new "bright red" pizza stone. I failed to read the directions about preheating it...oops! However, my first pizza was delicious and next time I will pre-heat it. This will make the crust a tad more "crustier" on the bottom.
