Thin Hides

begin with thin!

I started out giving my dogs the thick hides. They would not chew them down far enough and as they dry out, the dogs have less desire to keep at it. Soon I discovered they also love scraps because they were richer in flavor. Scraps were too small, so we switched again to thins which is where I'm at now. For some reason the thins really grab their attention. This particular batch was smelly, which makes the dogs go totally nuts for them. Yes, sterile chews with no odor are easier on our senses but they are no interest to my dogs. It is so satisfying to watch them chew these hides and they enjoy the time so much that I forget about the smell. Now, if the hides sit too long out in the air they dry out and the dogs lose interest. I plan to switch back to thick hides again soon and see if something has changed but right now, 100% happy with my chewing pets. When they make it down to the last few inches, which takes about two hours, I take it away and discard to avoid any possible choking hazard. These chews are really the best and my dogs vote thumbs up!

Perfect for teething!

Nice size I literally had to cut them in half that to me. It’s awesome. Used to buying treats that look big and when you get them, they’re just a very tiny bit for too much money my dogs love them. I got to cut them in half and have plenty enough for a while
