Lightweight and efficient

I bought this specifically to use indoors with a Petzl GRIGRI as I found that it was very easy for my usual screwgate to rotate and become cross loaded in use. I don't have the problem with a normal belay plate. Anyway, the Gridlock screwgate prevents accidental rotation and works very well.
