I honestly thought I was incapable of changing my own strings on my Goodtime Banjo. I was using a small cork block I had purchased from Amazon back when I owned a used garage sale banjo. This time, using my new Cradle Cube from Deering, I put the strings on in record time and only used one package of strings!! I didn’t realize how much the Banjo was moving around with the little cork block! This time it didn’t budge, that made all the difference in the world!!! Works great! Easy to use for both banjo and guitar. Provides several angles of support for neck (curved) and fretboard (flat) surfaces. Very good cushion and firm hold while doing repairs or restringing work.
