Very sturdy once attached! Appreciate the silicone/rubber grip which keeps my keyboard (Magic Keyboard) in place while typing. Only reason for 4/5 stars is that the platform width is only wide enough for a full-sized keyboard with numeric keypad; this leaves essentially no room for a mouse unless placed in front of the keyboard (ergonomically awkward). May need to purchase the floating mouse platform to keep the mouse at the level of the keyboard (more ergonomically comfortable).
