1/2" Inset Cabinet Hinge

I needed to replace 1950s cupboard hardware. After striking out at big box stores, I learned that cupboards were built differently back then. Thankfully I found hardware source. They had what I needed and my oder arrived in a few days.

If you are remodeling an old kitchen, you NEED "hardware finder"!

We have lived in our current house for 37 years, with no improvements on our kitchen. The house was built in the early 1960s, and the kitchen cabinets are the originals. I decided to be brave and reface them myself. The problem is that, over the years, standards change or hardware, and although I ordered hinges twice, neither were the right configuration/fit. A local hardware store suggested I look online at HardwareSource. I found their "find a hinge", and almost immediately found the 1/2 inch inset hinges that I knew I needed, but was afraid were no longer made. I ordered one set just to test it out, and the results were perfect! Just yesterday, my other 29 sets arrived in the mail from HardwareSource! Finally a hinge that fits!

We are updating our kitchen and had been struggling to find hinges that fit our older cabinets. After lots of research we found these. They fit perfectly and really make the cabinets look great. So much better than our previous outdated ones!
