Yay!! Finally !!

I love this trash can. I am actually am using it as a composter. I love the white gloss and functionality. It’s so sleek. There is something cathardic about pressing the bottom and the can opening. I want Simple Human to make a large one just like this. I prefer this sleek design to the big lip with a holder on the back.

Love this trash can. The lower wider can gives you more flexibility on where you can put it. I have it in my family room because I have a dog who is a trash surfer. I have it in a convenient place but it looks like it belongs there because of its low profile.

needs a design that doesn't encourage single use plastic consumption

this is the closest design i've been able to find that allows for containment and easy transport of unsanitary and organic trash. i like to use the bin without a liner, carry it to our public trash system bins, rinse, sanitize, put back. other trash that does not carry decomposition or sanitation issues are put in another simplehuman can i have other concerns with. but regardless this is the best there is for being able to limit single use plastic bags in our trash cans, and i hope designs by simplehuman move towards that goal in the future.
