Sturdy, good instructions, easy to assemble and set the correct length on the crossbar for my kayak before connecting to the free-standing rack frame. Makes setting and storing the kayak in the frame super easy as the crossbar keeps the frames aligned nicely and moving the entire rack with kayak stored on it a breeze.

Secure and stable
This is my second one, I own two free standing units, one inside, and one outside. The one outside is mounted to a base and I feel it adds a great deal of stability. Same for the one I keep inside. If I need to move the rack with the caster wheels on it, everything stays in place. I know my kayaks are being supported with the correct spacing. Def worth the investment!
