Clear Retainers

I was hesitant at first, but it was SO worth it in the end! I did have to wait a little extra due to a mistake I made in the molding process, but the Say Cheese Club communicated very quickly, kept me updated, and they gave very detailed instructions. Compared to dropping $500 at the ortho for new retainers, I only paid a slim price compared to what they would ask for. These retainers are very durable and amazing! I would beg to differ in saying that these are better than the ones you get from the dentist/ortho. They even provide a very nice holder for your retainers, and if you pair it with an ultrasonic retainer cleaner, you’re golden for years. Thank you Say Cheese Club for fixing me up! 100% recommend.

Took awhile to get the mould of my teeth right, maybe add an additional putty or two with the initial mould because you really don’t understand how quick the mixture hardens and mixing and adding it to the mould takes a minute to get the hang of. I had to actually order more putty because the first two tries It was a learning curve. But…the retainer turned out great once recieved and im glad they keep the mould on file for future replacements if needed.

I did some shopping around before I chose Say Cheese. They seemed to be about 50-75 dolllars cheaper than other companies . It seemed to be an easy process from what I was reading on the website . I Also ordered expedited shipping because I really needed the retainers fast . Because of the process this didn’t happen so I wasted 50.00 extra dollars . 1. The process : you cannot get an approval to mail your molds back unless the pictures you upload pass their requirements. **you can mail them back without approval but there is no guarantee that the retainers will fit. I’ve done this before with another company and the process was easy but not with Say Cheese . You get a couple of extra putties to work with in case of rejection That is an extra putty per arch . If they continue to reject but then you have to either purchase more putty , pay for a tutorial, or send them in without approval . I ended up using all of my putty and they never approved my top arch so I had to make a decision . I didn’t want to pay any more money seeing I had already paid for expedited retainers . I sent them both back - one with approval and one without . 2. The retainers arrived within the time it stated for expediting - but it took so long to get the molds right at that point it didn’t even matter. The two stars are for the fact that they actually do expedite as stated . 3. The retainers don’t feel at all like they are retaining and in fact , I have some that actually fit better.The bottom arch was accepted but it doesn’t really work. It just feels like I have a hard night guard on . This was a waste of money and I should’ve just paid more money with a different company .all I have are glorified night guards that I didn’t order.
