Backpack Product Optimization & Shipping Feedback Suggestions

Though Canada Post has higher shipping rates, I opted for it for other considerations. However, the order was eventually shipped via FedEx instead. I submitted feedback regarding this inconsistency but received no reply. The spacing between anchor points on the backpack shoulder straps is uneven. Such defects are rarely found in well-known premium brands, which highlights the quality gap. Even top brands implement strict defective rate control standards to avoid this issue. The issues mentioned above are critical concerns. The drawbacks I will cover later can be optimized in the next product revision, yet the earlier flaws will leave a lasting negative impression on customers. This bad impression will carry over to the next iteration and even the entire product lineup. The backpack looks great in renderings, yet it collapses into a cylindrical shape once packed with items. Therefore, I recommend fitting it with a removable HDPE back panel. At 30 liters, this pack is a decent size. While ALUULA material offers excellent tensile strength, I suggest reinforcing the shoulder strap seams to match the construction standard of OSPREY backpacks. Moreover, add an adjuster to allow the top of the pack to tilt forward; this upgrade only adds a few grams of extra weight. We can also include several utility straps as accessories for customers to customize the pack through DIY modifications.

My first tour with the Wapta

Just finished a 3-day hut mountain tour in the Alps with my brand new Wapta and all in all, I am very happy with it. I loved not only the extremely low weight but also the compact feeling. It sits tight on my back and did not move or bounce at all. Sweating was at least not a bigger problem than with other packs. Not having the inside pockets of a traditional backpack at first feels a bit unusual. But the whole system of outside pockets feels so comfortable and make up for it, that I don’t want to miss it. I had to get down my pack for food, glasses, water or purse far less often, cause you have everything at hand easily. Even the bottom pocket, which I have been sceptical at first, proved to be very handy. Well done!

Stopped raining before I got it so that is untested. But Light and comfortable it is as promised! All positive except for bottom pouch which the bungee is loose and since the material is slippery, stuff falls out unless the pack is fully stuffed which we will never do. That said, I think the wife wants one now!
