I forgot I used to have this tea in my rotation, hadn't ordered it in over 2 years. Welcome back, Ancient Forest - the aroma of the tea before steeping is heaven, and the flavor is ever so slightly pungent, a hint, to make me remember why I love this tea.

This is an all time favorite black tea for me. I love the multiple and delicate flavors and aromas that this blend of traditional teas delivers. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but this tea reminds me of what "old fashioned" tea might have tasted like in its purest form. At any rate, I enjoy this tea for its calming effect.
