A Reliable Board That Delivers!
This is my third Cato Board, so it's fair to say I'm a big fan of the product. I recently added the Green Olive Cato Board to my setup, and the quality is every bit as impressive as my other boards.
The durability and non-slip surface make it ideal for a wide range of training activities, both indoors and outdoors. I regularly use Cato Boards for place training, obedience work, impulse control, handling drills, and helping my dogs develop a clearer understanding of commands.
Having multiple boards creates even more training possibilities and makes sessions more engaging and effective. One of the ways I use multiple boards is during scent work with my two dogs. Both dogs are asked to go to place on their own Cato Board, and then I release one dog to work while the other remains on their board and watches.
It's a great way to build steadiness, impulse control, and patience while allowing each dog to work individually within a structured training session. What I value most about the Cato Board system is the clarity it provides between dog and owner. It gives dogs a clearly defined place to succeed, helping them make better choices and learn behaviours more quickly.
Over the years, I've found it to be one of the most effective tools for building focus, confidence, and reliability in training. The Olive Green colour looks fantastic, distinctive without being overly bright, and fits well into any training environment.
If you already use Cato Boards, adding another one is a worthwhile investment. If you're considering your first, I can confidently say they've become a permanent part of my training toolkit, which is why I now own three. Highly recommended for anyone serious about positive, structured dog training, worth every penny! 10/10
