I still have an original pair of the Vuarnet cat-eyes from the '70's. They're classic, but not that well adapted to skiing, as they don't completely cover the orb of your eyes. Enter Racing 05, which I really like for skiing, as they are 'wraps', that is, they fold around your face and completely cover the orbs of your eyes, thus keeping out the wind while you're skiing. The lenses are red orange which is a departure from traditional Vuarnet, and of course totally Vuarnet in that they look a bit funky. Suitable not just for skiing, but for everyday wear. I highly recommend these glasses if you're an outdoors type, or if you are simply into fashion, or maybe just into 'funky'. :)
