A fun first trip

We had a nice day of exploration. We were already staying in Crystal River so this was all nice and close. Unfortunately the 2 food recommendations at stop 3 are no longer open but we were happy to still be able to see some animals.

Fun Stops

We had a great time on this trip. That being said, there wasn’t enough time to enjoy everything and we were not able to go to all stops. The first stop was great. We did the tour and it ended up being 1.5 hours. Tours only ran hourly and didn’t begin till 11 and end at 3. This took up a huge part of our day and impacted how much time we had to enjoy later on- ie final stop closed at 5. It might be more beneficial to work backwards than how the trip is set up. That being said, we are a family of 5 with 2 pre teens and a teen and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Definitely Offbeat!

I had a lot of fun on this trip. Took it solo. Loved one of the eateries at the first stop. Wish I lived closer! Had some history, some unexpected places, and just laid back and chill places. One of my faves so far!
