I love my new tray and stand! The stand is like a little oragami puzzle with a trick: you can use it 3 ways: low the ground, higher up, or completely apart to store. Its my second tray stand and I like the smaller scale for versatility in my living space. But its the beauty of the craft that makes me feel I own a piece of art as well as a tray stand. My father would have created something like this.
