II (Deux)

This fragrance is beautiful! Now… let me be clear, I don’t think I would personally wear this as it gives me such a strong memory of working on a ranch as a kid and cutting down mesquite trees and stacking up the wood in the blazing hot heat of the Texas summer. It smells green and green wood, and crushed leaves and mesquite beans. It is a GORGEOUS green monster if you ask me. BUT, I wouldn’t wear it due to the strong memory.

For the first 30 minutes this is one of the most beautiful aromas I have ever smelled. I love green notes generally and this truly smells like being outside in a sunny evergreen forest crushing herbaceous stems as you walk. As the top notes evaporate and it becomes a skin scent, the cedar comes forward and, though it becomes more of a skin scent, the incense-cashmeran-ambroxan drydown is beautifully soft.

First whiff is pickles and a little pine in the best way possible then settles down into the most lovely green and on me slightly floral stem smell. I really like this and VIXI ordered fb of both.
